EDUCATION

Dorothy has an Associates degree in Sociology from Del Mar College, a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Our Lady of Corpus Christi and a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University in Sterling Virginia. 

EXPERIENCE 

Dorothy is a fully licensed mental health therapist with over five years of experience serving clients in both Texas and Wisconsin. She has proudly worked in various inpatient and outpatient mental health settings throughout her career, including hospitals, clinics, and online telehealth agencies. 

SPECIALTY AREAS 

Dorothy takes a trauma informed approach to working with adolescents, adults, and families. She is trained in multiple therapeutic areas including CBT, DBT, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, PTSD, anger management, and many more. 

WHY THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD? 

Dorothy has a heart for helping and healing. She was inspired to dive into the mental health field after she experienced her own mental health journey healing from trauma. Dorothy is passionate about helping others work through their personal mental health struggles. 

PERSONAL

In her free time, Dorothy enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.  

AVAILABILITY

Dorothy provides services in office, in home, in school, or within the community Monday - Friday. has Dorothy has limited daytime availability for adolescents, families, couples, and adults.
