EXPERIENCE

Emma is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Worker who brings a strong background in supporting individuals and families through a variety of life challenges. She has experience working in fast-paced and high-support environments, where she helped individuals and families navigate difficult situations, build skills, and feel supported during times of change.

She has worked closely with teams, families, schools, and community supports to ensure individuals receive consistent and meaningful support. Emma also has experience helping clients through important transitions, including returning to school, adjusting to new environments, and connecting with helpful community resources. Emma’s background also includes experience supporting children and families in both hospital and community-based settings, where she developed a strong ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life. Beginning mid-April, Emma will be joining Randall Therapeutic Services as a Service Array Provider, where she will provide ISDE (Individual Skill Development and Enhancement) and Parent Aide services. In this role, she will work directly with children, adolescents, adults, and families to build everyday life skills, strengthen family relationships, and support overall well-being. Emma takes a personalized, hands-on approach by meeting clients where they are and tailoring support to each individual’s unique strengths and needs. She has a particular passion for working with adolescents, helping them navigate challenges, build confidence, and develop a strong sense of self.

EDUCATION

Emma holds a Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Child, Adolescent, and Advocacy Studies from Winona State University, where she graduated with high academic achievement and was named to the Dean’s List for seven semesters.

She is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Wisconsin and also holds licensure in Minnesota. Emma continues to grow her knowledge and skills through ongoing learning and professional development.

SPECIALTY AREAS

Emma specializes in working with adolescents and families, while also supporting clients across the lifespan. She provides skill-based services through ISDE and Parent Aide programming, focusing on building emotional regulation, coping skills, communication, problem-solving, organization, and independent living skills. She has strong experience supporting individuals and families through life challenges and transitions, helping them build confidence and develop practical skills they can use in their everyday lives. Emma also works closely with caregivers to strengthen parenting skills, improve family dynamics, and create supportive home environments. Emma utilizes a wraparound approach, collaborating with families, schools, and other providers to ensure consistent and well-rounded support. Her approach is hands-on, strengths-based, and focused on helping clients make meaningful, lasting progress.

Emma is passionate about helping individuals and families feel supported, understood, and empowered. She is especially driven to work with adolescents, helping them build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and navigate important stages of growth and change.

Availability:

Emma will begin providing services at Randall Therapeutic Services in mid-April and will be available to work with clients of all ages, with a primary focus on adolescents. She will offer services in a variety of settings, including in-home, in-school, and within the community.
