 Meet Rhett Hopper

We’re excited to introduce Rhett, he has a passion for helping kiddos navigate life’s challenges, he brings a vibrant personality and a background in helping others to our team!

Background & Credentials: Rhett holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Iowa State University and is excited to work in the mental health field! He is committed to providing compassionate care tailored to each client's unique needs. Rhett has volunteered and worked in athletic/coaching environments where he really enjoyed fostering learning, teaching skills for conflict resolution, and teaching youth that they are capable and can be independent!

Modality & Approach: Rhett is looking forward to helping children achieve their goals through using tools such as mindfulness, social emotional learning curriculums, and positive behavioral intervention. He aspires to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Rhett draws from his various volunteer efforts as well as his time as a camp counselor, assisting in a summer treatment program to help children with ADHD and ODD. He enjoys utilizing tools like art and play, especially physical activity,  to help children learn new skills. 

Services Offered: Rhett is available to provide individualized skills work through our ISDE program focusing on stress management, life transitions, self-esteem, executive functioning and more! He is passionate about helping clients achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.

Personal Life: Rhett enjoys hiking and trying new things. He also enjoys binging crime documentaries and spending time with his dog named Scarlett. Although he has a special place in his heart for Scarlett, he also enjoys cats as well!
