EXPERIENCE

Sydney is a compassionate and dedicated Service Array Provider who brings a strong background in public service, crisis response, and family support to her work with clients. She began her career in 2019 as a Dual Certified Jailer and 911 Dispatcher, where she developed the ability to remain calm under pressure, respond effectively in high-stress situations, and support individuals during moments of crisis. She later served as a Child Protection Services Aide, working closely with families involved in the child welfare system. In this role, Sydney coordinated services, facilitated communication between families and providers, supported visitation, and assisted with parenting education programming. These experiences strengthened her ability to build trusting relationships, navigate complex systems, and provide meaningful support during challenging life situations.

Sydney now provides skill enhancement services, working directly with children, adults, and families to build practical life skills that support independence and long-term success. She is trained in a wraparound approach and works collaboratively with families, schools, and other providers to create a consistent, team-based support system.

EDUCATION

Sydney holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and an Associate of Arts Degree in Psychology. She also earned a Death Investigations Certificate, further strengthening her knowledge in crisis response and behavioral understanding.

Sydney specializes in skill enhancement and practical life skills development, working with individuals of all ages to build the tools needed to improve daily functioning and overall well-being. She utilizes a wraparound approach, collaborating closely with families, providers, and community resources to ensure coordinated and consistent support.

With a strong background in crisis response and child welfare, Sydney is highly skilled in supporting individuals and families through high-stress and complex situations. She provides structured, hands-on support in areas such as emotional regulation, coping skills, communication, problem-solving, organization, time management, healthy relationships, and independent living skills, including budgeting, routines, and goal-setting. Sydney takes a personalized approach by meeting clients where they are and tailoring support to each individual’s unique strengths and needs. Known for her calm, supportive, and approachable nature, she creates an environment where clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered. She is passionate about helping individuals build confidence, develop independence, and make meaningful, lasting progress in their daily lives.

Sydney has always been drawn to work that supports individuals and families during difficult moments in their lives. Her experience in corrections, emergency dispatch, and child protective services exposed her to the significant impact that emotional, behavioral, and environmental challenges can have on individuals and families. These experiences inspired her to pursue psychology and a career in mental health, where she can combine empathy, structure, and evidence-based approaches to help others build stability, resilience, and positive change.
