EXPERIENCE
Taylor brings several years of experience working with children and families in educational and learning settings. Her background includes roles as an early childhood educator, classroom teacher, long-term substitute, and learning coach. Through this work, she has supported students’ academic, social, and emotional development while collaborating closely with families, educators, and support teams.

EDUCATION & LICENSURE
Taylor is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Wisconsin–Stout, a CACREP-accredited program. She is completing her graduate therapy internship under supervision and will begin providing mental health therapy services starting next week.

SPECIALTY AREAS
Taylor has a strong interest in working with children and adolescents, with a focus on supporting emotional regulation and the development of healthy coping skills. She enjoys helping clients navigate school-related stress and life transitions and approaches her work through a trauma-informed lens. Taylor is also passionate about building confidence and resilience, empowering clients to better understand themselves and develop skills for long-term emotional well-being.

WHY THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD?
Taylor’s passion for the mental health counseling field grew from her experience as an educator, where she observed a significant need for mental health support and resources for students facing emotional and behavioral challenges. While helping students and families access appropriate supports, she developed a strong interest in understanding the brain and exploring therapeutic interventions that promote healing and growth.

PERSONAL
Outside of her work, Taylor enjoys reading, camping, painting, going for walks, catching up on TV shows, and spending quality time with friends and family.
