EXPERIENCE 

Jordyn is a dedicated Service Array Provider at RTS with over three years of experience, primarily working with children.  Jordyn is passionate about helping others prioritize their mental well-being and equipping them with tools to improve their social-emotional skills through life’s experiences.  Jordyn brings a wealth of experience from her work across various areas of the mental health field. She has provided resources, support, and education to individuals navigating life difficulties.

EDUCATION 

Jordyn earned her Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from the University of La Crosse.

SPECIALTY AREAS 

She supports a diverse range of clients through the Parent Aide and Individual Skills Development Enhancement programs. Jordyn is passionate about assisting clients of all ages in developing essential skills and fostering personal growth, no matter where they are in their life journey. Jordyn has a special niche for working with children. She understands the challenges that come with growing up and is committed to helping children navigate these challenges with the support of books, play, and guidance. She believes in creating a safe and encouraging environment where children can grow, find their identity, and build resilience.  Jordyn utilizes a variety of curriculums and techniques in sessions including Little Spot of Emotion curriculum, artistic expression, and play. 

WHY THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD? 

Having faced her own mental health struggles, Jordyn is deeply empathetic to the importance of mental health support. Jordyn knows firsthand the impact of mental health support and encourages others to check in on their mental health regularly, just as they would their physical health.

PERSONAL 

Outside of work, Jordyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, drinking coffee, painting, journaling, reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors. Recently, she has also reconnected with her love for music by picking up her flute after a few years without playing. Jordyn seeks out activities that bring positivity and joy into her life.

AVAILABILITY

Jordyn provides services in office, in home, in school, or within the community Monday - Thursday.
