Transcription Lead Coordinator

Kate is the lead transcriptionist here at RTS, ensuring document accuracy and consistency. With her background in office management and administrative work she shares a wealth of support for our team, while applying a strong organizational foundation daily. Her work offers a unique, behind-the-scenes perspective on the mental health field, allowing her to understand the challenges individuals face and the therapeutic techniques that support their healing. While Kate does not have a mental health background, she finds hope and inspiration through each individual's therapeutic journeys. Kate is the master at finding even the smallest typos as she vets documentation for quality control purposes. She provides oversight processes and routine, while implementing the quality checks that enable catching human error. Kate’s role is delicate as the process requires patience, attention to detail, an understanding of each providers therapeutic approach, and concentration for long periods of time.

Kate is known for her kind and approachable nature. She always offers a warm smile and a helping hand to both employees and clients. She is passionate about teamwork and boosting office morale. Her dedication extends beyond transcription, as she plays a vital role on the management team. Kate offers constructive feedback, intuitive ideas, and always comes prepared. She allows her creative side to shine by constructing our grab-and-go activities for our Service Array Department. Kate spent hours researching and preparing activities that staff can use in sessions with clients. Two of the popular activities she developed are—the Worry Worm and the Calming Jar—.

A strong advocate for mental health, Kate is always exploring new tools and techniques to improve her own well-being. She finds inspiration in the stories of strength and resilience she encounters, and she feels honored to contribute to the mental health community in such meaningful ways.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys camping, cookouts with friends and family, ice fishing, concerts, and traveling. She loves any kind of potatoes and enjoys the song “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey.
