Kim Randall
OWNER + LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology + Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, University of Wisconsin Stout
*Kim Randall is currently focusing on supervision and hands-on training with our therapists. She is not taking on new clients at this time.
EXPERIENCE
Kim started her career as a Case Manager for persons with severe and persistent mental health. She then went on to work as a Social Worker, aiding individuals and families with mental health concerns, leading teams under a comprehensive systems approach to wellness. Currently, Kim works on program expansion and provides clinical supervision to our team of therapists.
SPECIALTY AREAS
Kim is a Certified Trauma Therapist who utilizes an integrative approach to help adults, children, families, and couples reach their goals. Therapeutic specialties include use of EMDR, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, Art and Play Therapy, with a solution focused approach. She has been trained in the Duluth Model and provides curriculum for male non-violence groups. Kim is passionate about the study of neuroscience, executive functioning and the evolution of therapy methods and assistive technology.
WHY THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD?
Kim learned many valuable lessons from her parents growing up about perseverance, giving back when you can and standing up for what you believe in, even if that means standing alone. Her parents praised Kim in her growth and held a space for her in her struggles, to really develop into her authentic self. They let Kim self-discover those areas. Not only did that help her develop trust in herself, but it's also influenced every aspect of her work from Kim’s patient care to how she provides supervision. Kim believes everyone deserves to flourish in their own way, at their own pace without someone else's voice or goals in the background.
PERSONAL
In her spare time Kim enjoys reading, being at the lake, singing with the windows down, trying out infomercial items, car rides to new places, doing anything where the sun is on her face and visiting with my family and friends. She also loves a good DIY project and going to Cabin Coffee.

WHY THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD?
Nikki’s high school psychology teacher brought a brain in and severed it on the table for class; this was in preparation of learning the different parts of the brain and basic functions of those parts. He then discussed how these parts worked within mental health disorders...this was fascinating to Nikki and sparked her curiosity and led to her passion of working in the mental health field.
PERSONAL
Nikki enjoys reading, time outside, photography, time with family and friends, researching (NERD!), puzzles, and traveling in her spare time.
Brittany Hasenberg
MS, LPC-IT
Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Vocational Rehabilitation, with concentrations in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Substance Abuse Counseling. Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, specializing in AODA and trauma/crisis counseling.
EXPERIENCE
Brittany has worked in a number of positions in the mental health and substance use field, beginning as a residential treatment worker, and eventually interning as a substance use counselor in a residential inpatient treatment center. She most recently gained experience working in outpatient mental health and substance use counseling as well.
SPECIALTY AREAS
Brittany has found that while she loves to work with all ages, she really enjoys working with adolescents. They often seem to bring a level of creativity, playfulness and at times sarcasm and humor that Brittany loves working with! Adolescents often seem to have a lot to say and don't have the space to say it. She enjoys working to understand their world and how they view themselves in it.
WHY THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD?
Brittany did not always plan to work in this field, but throughout her life she had her own struggles with mental health, and also had seen so many of her family and friends struggle with mental health and substance use. Ultimately it was the loss of a family member to depression and substance use that changed Brittany’s life and brought her purpose and the desire to work in the mental health field as a therapist. Brittany loves the constant reminders of just how remarkably resilient and strong people are and helping them to see that in themselves.
PERSONAL
Brittany loves to go to concerts, read, be outside, and spend time with her husband as well as her family and friends!
